Can I use a short throw projector?

The LFC supports projector throw ratios between 0.50-2.0.

The problem with using projectors with throw ratios that are not officially supported is that the LFC Kit camera might not have the ability to see the projected image's entirety. One way you could try to work around this would be to use a longer or shorter HDMI cable so you'd be able to move the LFC camera farther away or closer to the scene. This may work in some cases, but will likely lead to more holes than normal due to the discrepancy of where the projector is vs. where the LFC camera is. We highly recommend using a projector with a throw ratio of 0.5-2.0 (officially supported range).

The LF1 (no longer in production) supports projector throw ratios between 0.85-1.8.
