Adding Text

Add text to your project with the Text Tool.

How To: Add text

1. Select or create a new surface that you’d like to add text to
2. Click on the Text icon on the Toolbar or press T. A text box will appear.
3. Text properties are shown in the Properties Panel. Edit the text under the Text property.

Add Effects and Visuals to Text

The inherit alpha button is a modifier for Blend Modes and when activated, it will apply a mask of the base layer's shape to all layers above it. This is most commonly used to add effects and visuals to text.
